Genza is a fictional character from Ninja Scroll: The Series.
Personality[]
He is a man who looks after Shigure while she lives in the hidden village. Despite Shigure trying to prove she isn't a child, he still treats her like one.
Appearance[]
Genza is an old short man, with gray hair. He have a cut scar under his left eye.
Biography[]
Genza was first seen, when he came to say to Shigure that they are ready for practice. She wondered what's outside of the village, since she have never been out, but Genza told her he don't know either. After the practice, he was walking with Shigure and two more men, when they heard the intruders alarm. When Genza saw Jūbei Kibagami, his expression became serious. Jūbei asked for water, and Genza agreed.
When Gōten attacked the village, Genza said that this was their fate and took off their clothes, along with the rest of the villagers, revealing that they are actually ninjas and attacked Gōten, but with no effect. Genza was later seen dying, faintly saying Shigure's name before he took his last breath.
Abilities[]
Genza is skilled ninja, and is very good with shurikens and swords. He, along with the rest of the villagers, where tasked to protect the light maiden, but were easily overpowered by Ubume and Gōten.
